my love

Went to the beach really early this past weekend. Tried to find some sunrise shells, but no such luck. Took this picture up at the main tower on MCBH.

Yay! Polish change again.

So this color is Vacation Time (264) by Sinful Colors Professional. I thought this was a good color to go with because it’s a subtle pink. Usually, I don’t use pink polishes, but this one isn’t as pink. I think this polish is pretty good, especially because of the price (again, under $8). However, if you don’t paint it right, the brush tends to leave streaks or lines. So, it’s better to dip more polish onto the brush because it’s easier to smooth out that way. I used two coats, by the way. Overall, I’m pretty happy with the color and the polish itself. Unfortunately, my vacation is coming to an end tonight. It’s back to school tomorrow.

On a side note, if you can’t tell already, my blog is going to be used for product/beauty reviews now. As well as other stuff that goes on in my life that I feel like sharing with you all.

Today I went to Lush!! I haven’t been in there in a while, so I was reminded at how amazing their products are. I bought this lip scrub called Sweet Lips, which is shown above. I absolutely adore this product for multiple reasons. For one, it’s all natural, two, it’s a sugar scrub, three, it’s edible, and four, it smells divine!! It also does the job, as far as removing all of the dead skin on my lips, therefore making my lips super soft. As I said before, it’s all natural. It’s pretty much made up of sugar, oils, vanilla extract, and cocoa. It’s $8.95 and totally worth every penny!!

Last night, I decided to do a polish change. I don’t always put polish on my finger nails because I work with my hands a lot. However, I thought I would try something different.

I used Rimmel London, Steel Grey (270). This brand of polish is actually pretty great because for one, the price is not bad at all and two, it’s pretty durable and chip resistant. I also have this brand in a midnight blue color. Anyways, the brush itself is actually a great feature too, because it’s pretty wide. With my fingers, one swipe in the middle covers my whole nail (except for my thumb, it requires two swipes). The picture shows two coats - even with one coat, the coverage is actually pretty good. The color (Steel Grey) is such a classy and versatile color. I definitely feel comfortable with this color on because it’s very subtle. I bought this polish at Longs (CVS), but I’m sure you can find it in most drug stores. The price is also under $8.00!

Eternal love.
